Father & Daughter Picnic
We ended June with a fantastic Father & Daughter picnic. With dads and daughters of all ages we competed in a variety of games such as wheelbarrow races and frisbee throws. We even had a dad and his two daughters win the singing contest with a great version of "Jesus Loves Me"! Thanks to Sue for putting together this fun event!
Mother/SONday Picnic
After the Father & Daughter picnic the Sons wanted a turn! It was only fair that they should get to have a day with their mothers and so they did. The mothers and sons involved had a great time playing various games from throwing water balloons to pushing wheelbarrows to a game where blindfolded sons had to find their mothers by recognizing their voices as they called our "Here." Thank you to Sue Lenzi for putting together another great day.
Awana
Awana 2010/11 is officially over! We had a great year with the kids and had a blast at our closing party. Through the year the kids earned many awards and memorized many scriptures. Our volunteers deserve a special "Thank You" for their dedication to the kids.
